Step 1: Preparing the School Community for the KEYS-CSI Process

Before investing the time and effort to implement KEYS-CSI process, it is critically important to address the readiness of a school to engage in evidence-based school improvement. The discussion and resources for this step are intended to help you do just that.

Step 1 involves three interrelated tasks:

  • Introducing the School Community to the Theory and Practice of Continuous School Improvement 

  • Introducing the School Community to KEYS Survey and its Importance to Continuous School Improvement

  • Securing Commitments for Continuous School Improvement
